Hello, my name is Alicia (pronounced Elysia) and I live in the beautiful state of Colorado with my husband David. Aside from being a photographer, I am also a creative and artist. I am an avid animal lover and one day hope to have a farm full of teacup animals. I love traveling so if you want to hire me out of the state or out of the country, you should know that my answer is "YES!" My favorite instrument to listen to is the Cello and I can listen to Yo-Yo Ma all day. I could not imagine life without laughter. I literally feel tingly after a good laugh and it is a huge way I connect with people. I enjoy shopping by myself and if I buy something, it's probably on sale. There are so many things that I love (as you can tell) but what I love most of all is my Savior Jesus Christ. He is the true reason why I live and of all the joys that life can bring, He pours out joy even more and I'm so thankful for that.
I will eat the whole bowl of popcorn if you don't stop me.
I will subscribe for a free week trial on Hulu with every email I have just so I can watch The Bachelorette live and then cancel my subscription before I get charged.
Wine. That's all I have to say about that!
I will go into a library just to browse the books and smell them but will rarely check any out.
I drink Starbucks on every wedding day I have just because I want to treat myself before a hard day of work.
Polaroids. They're cute..... and talk about instant gratification!
If you let me hold your baby, I WILL kiss his/her cheeks because they feel so squishy and I LOVE squishy babies!
When traveling I always budget for snacks at the airport because that always gets me in travel mode.
If you want something, save up for it.
Marriage is one of the hardest things to do but also one of the most rewarding. My husband and his heart is the reward for all the sacrifice.
I believe belly laughs are medicine for the soul.
Sometimes you just need to have a super fun dance party! Don't be so serious!
I believe in taking time to smell the roses, looking up once in a while, laying in the grass to watch the clouds go by, watching the rain fall, and standing in the stillness of a snowfall.
Animals are practically humans to me!
Community and friendships will make you feel more rich than any amount of money ever will.
I believe you can never have too many sequins dresses. Girl, put that thing on and be fabulous!
