About Me
Hello, my name is Alicia (pronounced Elysia) and I am currently living in Virginia Beach although I was born and raised in Colorado. I am a wife of 14 years to David and I am a mother to four sweet little munchkins who are my whole world! I am a home birthing homeschool mama who loves coffee and Jesus and the ocean! I enjoy shopping by myself, cancelled plans, and binge watching a show sharing a pint of ice cream with my hubby. I would consider myself an introvert who loves to couch rot but get me around the right people and you might see my swaggy side come out!
Now about my photography… I’m drawn to real moments- the ones that happen in between poses and make you forget a camera’s even there. My photography is filled with soft light, warm tones, and natural connection. Whether you’re chasing toddlers on the beach or soaking up snuggles from your beloved, I want your photos to remind you just how beautiful your everyday really is.

+ Hiding in the pantry to eat ice cream so my kids don’t find me.

+The beach is my most favorite place to be!
+Browsing a store without any kids interrupting me is my favorite way to spend my mom nights!
+Vanilla Lattes are my jam and I have to have one everyday!
+Apples with peanut butter and chocolate chips is my all time favorite snack.
+Trying a nail polish color on each of my nails at Target is so much fun! Shhhh don’t tell the employees I opened them.
+Every once in awhile, spending a day in my bed eating snacks and binging a show is so refreshing to me!
+If you want something, save up for it.
+Marriage is one of the hardest things to do but also one of the most rewarding. My husband and his heart is the reward for all the sacrifice.
+You can never kiss a baby's cheeks too many times. They're just so soft, warm, and squishy and make life 1000 times better.
+I believe belly laughs are medicine for the soul.
+Sometimes you just need to have a super fun dance party! Don't be so serious!
+I believe in taking time to smell the roses, looking up once in a while, laying in the grass to watch the clouds go by, watching the rain fall, and standing in the stillness of a snowfall.
+Having kids is the greatest honor I could ever have. Children are such a gift!
+Community and friendships will make you feel more rich than any amount of money ever will.
