Kristy's Senior Photos// Denver, Co

Hey all!

Today I have another city shoot for you guys on the blog. Talk about some cool senior photos! I can tell you for a fact that my senior photos weren't even close to any of the senior sessions I do. This one with Kristy was lots of fun! We found a cool spot in an alley way in Denver and made our way to a rooftop. The whole time we listened to music and had a good time talking about school, music, and travel. Kristy is so cool and I'm so excited for you guys to get to know her!

Denver Senior Photos

1. Tell us about yourself (do you have any hobbies? Do you have any pets? What's your favorite subject in school?).

I'm an AP student, and I'm deeply committed to my studies. I'm almost always studying during school, but all the stress is paying off as I'm currently the salutatorian of my class. My favorite subject in school is science, particularly biology and chemistry. Outside of school, I like to take pictures and go for the occasional run. I've also been teaching myself Korean. I absolutely love to travel! I love submersing myself in different cultures and going on adventures.

2. What are your plans after high school?

After high school, I plan to go to college to study either psychology or medicine.

3. What is one of the hardest lessons you've had to learn in high school?

The hardest thing I've had to learn in high school was learning how to manage my time! Even an AP student struggles with procrastination, and it is the hardest thing to get over!

4. What is your favorite thing to do for fun?

My favorite thing to do for fun is to go out to take pictures or hang out with my friends. I also binge on Netflix pretty often.

5. What is one of your favorite memories from high school?

One of my favorite memories from high school is going to football games with my friends. Our school follows a split schedule, so I can't see my friends as often as before split schedules took over. To be honest, we don't even watch the game because we spend the time catching up, laughing, and just enjoying each other's presence.

6. Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years, I see myself either graduating college with a Bachelor's degree in psychology or going into medical school.

7. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to China. I'm Chinese, and I've never been to China. It would be an amazing opportunity to be able to surround myself with people who share the same culture as me and to explore the country that my ancestors lived in.

8. Who is your best friend and what about you both makes you click so well?

I have 5 friends, and I love them all equally, but my closest friend would be Elle Sabre. Our personalities are practically the same. We love lame jokes, we're deeply committed to our education, and we're perfectionists.

9. If you could have any superpower, what would you have and why?

If I could have any superpower, it would be super-speed. I'm almost always running late for something, and it would be amazing if I could actually get somewhere on time for once! Not to mention it would also be extremely helpful on days when I oversleep for school.

10. What three words would you use to describe yourself?

The three words I would use to describe myself are: smart, adventurous, and open-minded.

11. What is one thing you couldn't live without?

I can't live without music. Music gets me going. It calms me down. It helps me pass the time. My taste in music tells a lot about who I am as well. A world without music would be miserable.

12. Do you have any advice for the underclassmen?

To all the underclassmen out there, cherish every moment in high school because it goes by faster than you'd like. High school shapes who you are, so don't take anything for granted! Challenge yourself, be the best you can be, and enjoy it.

Scott's Portraits// Denver, Co

Hey guys!

Oh my goodness, I am so excited about this shoot and not just because Scott is my dad but also because we got some epic shots as well. Sometimes as a photographer I get so caught up in photographing other people and other peoples families that I can easily overlook my own. My dad and I have talked about doing a shoot for a couple years now and haven't gotten to it until now. Why I waited so long, I don't know, but I'm glad to have finally gotten to photograph my dad.
